Atom Strategic Consulting
Elizabeth Attias (Beth) founded Atom Strategic Consulting after eight successful years in the pharmaceutical industry. As the President and CEO of Atom Strategic Consulting, Beth has worked with start-up companies, established biotechnology companies as well as small, mid-size, and large pharmaceutical companies on projects ranging from market development, strategic market entry, brand optimization, portfolio management and more. She has set an ambitious vision for the company and employed her scientific expertise to assist dozens of clients with clinical, launch and post launch brand management campaigns.
Prior to founding Atom Strategic Consulting, Beth held several important positions at Parke-Davis Pharmaceuticals. In her eight years with the company, she grew sales and expanded market penetration. Her work as the Associate Director of Medical and Scientific Affairs was recognized with a Medical Liaison Leadership Award in 1996. As Director of New Business Development in the Women's Healthcare Division, her initiative earned her a place in Who's Who Among American Women. Finally, as Category Director of Female Endocrine Products, Beth won a "Rising Star Award" from the Healthcare Business Women's Association. Beth is a member of several professional associations and served on the Duke University Women's Health Advisory Board.
Beth graduated in 1984 with a B.S. from St. Mary's College of Maryland. She went on to earn a Master of Medical Science from Emory University in 1987. She completed her academic career at The Johns Hopkins University. She graduated as a Maternal and Child Health National Fellow and with a Doctor of Science Degree from The Johns Hopkins University School of Hygiene and Public Health in 1992.

Philip Magistro (Phil) joined Atom Strategic Consulting in 2004 as President of Commercial Operations. Phil is a marketing specialist with expertise in the interpretation of medical and scientific information for pharmaceutical marketing professionals. With more than twenty years in the health care field, Phil has demonstrated abilities in several practice areas including central nervous system, pain, cardiovascular, infectious disease, oncology, and women's health.
Prior to joining Atom Strategic Consulting, Phil held several roles within the health care community. In his fifteen years with Parke-Davis Pharmaceuticals Phil directed various business areas. As Director of Drug Information, he led the production of support materials for both health care professional and field sales colleagues. He was chosen to pilot the Medical Liaison role for Parke-Davis and lead the Liaison group in the Northeast Business Unit. He then held senior level roles in Global Marketing, where he had responsibility for guiding the commercial development of all CNS compounds including pregabalin (Lyrica) and had global lifecycle responsibilities for Neurontin (gabapentin). In these positions, he led the European launch of central nervous system drugs and, at the same time, quadrupled the growth of the Neurontin within the EU. In 2000, Phil accepted the position of Vice President for Global Marketing and Business Development at Alpharma/Faulding Pharmaceuticals. He was later promoted to Vice President of Marketing Brands. In these roles, he increased sales of Kadian by 160% and championed in house development of future products.
Phil graduated from Villanova University with a B.A. in Psychology and minors in biology and chemistry. He also earned an MBA , and Masters in Psychopharmacology from Fairleigh Dickinson University.

Liz joined Atom Strategic Consulting in January 2007 as Senior Director of Marketing Operations. She offers a depth of expertise in research and writing with a finely honed talent to compose science based documents with a creative approach. Liz has an unsurpassed ability to immerse herself in new fields of study and develop and produce compelling and informative pieces of work. Liz is a 1990 graduate of Rockhurst University with a B.A. in English and Political Science. She served as President of the Student Government and augmented her educational experience with an internship in Washington D.C. on the Senate Judiciary Committee, Subcommittee on Courts and Administrative Practices under the auspices of Senator Charles Grassley. In 1993, Liz earned her Juris Doctorate from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. She was a member of the Moot Court Team and competed in the 1993 National Moot Court Competition. Liz is an inactive member of Maryland Bar.
